Cook Medical’s Vista Education and Training Programs focus on best practices in using Cook products, advanced techniques and innovative technologies designed to improve patient care. Each year Cook Medical offers thousands of sessions around the globe for training professionals on Cook products in a wide range of clinical specialties.
One example is the highly interactive, hands-on training delivered at the European Endoscopy Training Centre at Gemelli Hospital in Rome. This year, the facility hosted a series of basic ERCP training programmes focusing on Cook products for endoscopy fellows that met with rave reviews.
Our video from this course provides an up-close look at what participants experienced. A panel of expert physicians delivered a wide range of content – from patient preparation, cannulation and common clinical scenarios to stone and stricture management. Attendees also had the opportunity to use the Cook Medical ERCP Trainer – an innovative, life-like model that enabled them to practice stone removal and stent placement using Cook products in a bench top environment.
