Washington, DC — Two Cook Pharmica executives will speak this week at the 2011 BIO International Convention: The Global Event for Biotechnology held June 27-30 in Washington, D.C. Ryan Hawkins and E. Morrey Atkinson will discuss two increasingly important areas of biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Hawkins will discuss key considerations in the design and delivery of a modern fill-finish facility. His case study will be based on his experience in leading the design, delivery and operation or Cook Pharmica’s state-of-the art fill-finish facility, which has been featured recently in Pharmaceutical Processing, Drug Development & Delivery, GEN and Pharmaceutical Technology. Atkinson’s presentation will identify key factors biopharmaceutical companies need to know about subvisible particles. Atkinson recently joined Cook Pharmica after leading biotechnology manufacturing sciences and technology for Eli Lilly and Company in Ireland.
