On Tuesday, May 2, National Public Radio (NPR) ran a story about Cook’s efforts to make the dream of owning a home a reality by building affordable housing for employees in Spender, Indiana in a development called Texas Pike Place. The article and audio piece about this innovative program included interviews with several Cook employees, including Steve Ferguson, chairman of the board of Cook Group.
