Bloomington, Ind. — Cook Medical is pleased to promote Amber Beauchamp to vice president, global human resources at Cook Group and Cook Medical effective September 1, 2023.
Beauchamp has more than 17 years of HR experience in multiple industries. She has spent a total of 12 years with Cook in HR leadership roles. Most recently, Beauchamp has served as senior director, Global Human Resources, where she has been responsible for all HR business partners and strategic initiatives.
“Amber has done a fantastic job advocating for employees in her time in Cook’s Human Resources department,” said Pete Yonkman, president of Cook Group and Cook Medical. “She has a passion for continuously improving our HR initiatives and infusing our company’s values in the programs we offer employees. The Cook leadership team is confident she will continue pushing for excellence in many ways, including supporting our high school equivalency program and gathering feedback and implementing change from employees.”
Beauchamp succeeds Nicky James, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, who will retire at the end of 2023 after a 25-year career at Cook Medical.
