Bloomington, Ind. – Steve Perry has been promoted to vice president of drug substance operations, Cook Pharmica announced recently. Perry will continue to lead the drug substance business unit and will assume responsibility for the engineering function in his new role.
Perry joined Cook in 2010 with more than 20 years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations. He has held numerous management roles and has extensive experience in large-scale therapeutic monoclonal antibody production, contract manufacturing and bioprocess engineering. Perry most recently served as director of drug substance operations at Cook Pharmica.

Originally from West Lafayette, Ind., Steve earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemical engineering from Purdue University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, respectively. He also earned a master’s in business administration from Northwestern University.
