Bloomington, Ind. – Jean-Marc Creissel received the Endourology Society 2017 Industry Award during the society’s annual World Congress of Endourology and SWL in Vancouver. Creissel is vice president of Cook Medical’s Urology business unit and vice president of operations for the greater China region.
The award is presented by the society’s awards committee to an individual and the company they represent for their efforts promoting Endourology worldwide. Creissel joins three previous Cook Medical industry award recipients, Frederick Roemer (1998), Jerry French (2004), and Walter Ryan (2010).
“My 27 years in urology devices has given me an understanding of the issues that urological health faces, both clinical and administrative,” said Creissel. “This understanding can be seen in the clinical solutions that Cook has developed, and in our efforts to help reduce operating time and reduce the need for repetitive treatment. I look forward to continuing my relationship with the Endourological Society and advancing endourology globally.”
“Jean-Marc has done great work to lead our Urology team,” said Pete Yonkman, president of Cook Medical and Cook Group. “His passion for making Cook a partner for physicians has led to innovative products that give physicians the capability to better treat patients around the world. Congratulations to Jean-Marc as he becomes our fourth recipient of the distinctive Industry Award.”
