Cook Medical’s Motion Hybrid Wire Guide
The Motion Hybrid Wire Guide is designed to facilitate the placement of endourological instruments during diagnostic or interventional procedures. Usually during endourological procedures, clinicians use multiple wire guides. However, the Motion Hybrid Wire Guide is essentially two wires in one so clinicians can confidently gain access and maneuver instruments with only one wire.

The body of the Motion Hybrid Wire Guide is Teflon™ *-coated and constructed of tightly wound stainless steel to help enable the passage of instruments and to provide control during the procedure. To make procedures as effective as possible, the wire also includes features such as:
- 5 cm of hydrophilic coating at the distal tip to facilitate advancement
- Tungsten-filled radiopaque tip for visualization during fluoroscopy
- PTFE coating for tactile control and maneuverability
- Nitinol core for kink resistance during placement
- Tapered proximal end to accommodate scope placement
